Honoured by the District Collector for Erode’s urban beautification

Our founder and principal architect, Ar. Vasudevan, was honoured by the District Collector of Erode at the valedictory session of Erode Varnam Vizha 2025. The award recognises his involvement in the urban beautification projects that brought colour and care back to the city’s public spaces.

Working with Yi on Varnam Vizha

Varnam Vizha, Erode’s festival of colours, was a city-wide effort. JSR worked closely with Young Indians (Yi), the youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), through the run of the festival on the beautification projects behind it.

President, Erode Architects Association

Vasudevan also serves as President of the Erode Architects Association, bringing the city’s architects together on the questions that shape how Erode grows.

Why it matters to us

Cities improve one street, one wall and one public space at a time. We are grateful to the District Administration, Yi Erode and every partner who made Varnam Vizha happen, and proud to have played a part.
